FS-1
The Santa Barbara Automation Firing System is a capacitive discharge instrument for precision qualification, engineering and quality control testing. It is ideal for evaluation of initiators over a range of charge capacitance and series resistance. Safety features include a rear panel interlock input and front panel Test/Standby switch.

Charge voltage is adjusted with a 10- turn potentiometer and monitored with the integral 3 ½ digit voltmeter.
Simple test sequence : Safe-Arm-Fire when in Test Mode with interlocks closed.
Rear panel 5-way binding posts allow user selection of charge capacitor and series resistance.
Interlock inputs on the rear panel must be closed to enable testing.
