集成系統中使用的所有光源都配備了 TTL 快門或觸發器，以將樣品的光照減少到絕對最低限度。源由與光譜儀相同的軟件觸發，允許以用戶定義的參數和間隔進行簡單的實驗設計和同步測量。通過使用 TTL 快門和/或脈衝光源，可以最大限度地減少不良熱效應並確保穩定的光源以最大限度地減少漂移。

選擇光纖以最小化光譜吸收並優化光源和光譜儀的耦合，從而在不使光譜儀飽和的情況下最大化輸送到細胞的可用光。這允許更快的積分時間和增加的信號平均，以提高測量的信噪比。

The Compact Line systems are supplied with Avasoft Full version 8.11 plus the chemometrics extension for simple data acquisition and post processing as well as process monitoring and real-time calculation of analyte concentration. Additional Avantes software modules such as Thin Film analysis and colourimetry are available for other applications at an additional cost.

Application note
The Integrated Spectrochemical System Compact Vis (ISS Compact Vis) includes a AvaSpec-Mini2048CL-V25 spectrometer and an AvaLight-HAL-S-Mini tungsten halogen lamp coupled to the spectro-electrochemical flow cell by Low OH SMA 905 terminated optical fibres. This system is suitable for visible light transmission spectroscopy with good resolution and sensitivity.

The following cells are compatible with ISS Compact Vis (please select desired option and add it to the quotation separately):

• Cell 1: SPECTRO-EFC, SMA 905, 1.75 mL
• Cell 2: SPECTRO-EFC, 4 mm path, 0.7 mL, SMA 905 variant
• Cell 3: R/T/A SPECTRO-EC, 1.75 mL, SMA 905 variant

The AvaLight-HAL-S-Mini is a compact stabilised Tungsten-Halogen light source equipped with a TTL-shutter and a filter slot that accepts 1 inch circular or 2 inch square filters to block specific wavelength ranges or attenuate the intensity of the source. The TTL-shutter allows for communication to the Avantes compact line spectrometer and auto-save dark reference in the AvaSoft spectroscopy Software.

The AvaSpec CompactLine spectrometers are compact and rugged spectrometers suitable for harsh environments. They deliver the resolution, sensitivity and stability that is expected from Avantes spectrometers in a form factor that is the size of a deck of cards. The AvaSpec-Mini2048CL-V25 delivers 0.7 nm resolution over the visible range between 350 – 850 nm. It is suitable for both spectrometric and colorimetric applications. If colourimetry is the main intended application then the Colour addon for AvaSoft is required, POI.
