The GLP2-MODULAR provides unlimited possibilities to configure a tester perfectly matching to our customer´s individual specifications and expectations.

The unique multi-combination option is based on the Schleich Modular Concept. This concept has been developed to create customized, cost-effective testers, perfectly matching to your requirements and applications.

This modularity is realized by assembling all test methods in one compact tester in an innovative housing concept instead of installing several single testers in one big cabinet. This flexibility not only offers you a huge price benefit, furthermore each tester contains our engineers´ experience from over 14.000 installations. This experience flows consistently and without any compromise in further developments.

 

This is “customer based technology” !

A specific SCHLEICH-feature is the integrated, automatic switchover between low-voltage and high-voltage tests. Thus, the test object may automatically be tested in only one test flow without the necessity of re-clamping the test connections. Thanks to this feature, it is possible to aquire cost-effective and individually-tailored multi testers.

  • Test method switchover
    A specific SCHLEICH-feature is the integrated, automatic switchover between low-voltage and high-voltage tests. Thus, the test object may automatically be tested in only one test flow without the necessity of re-clamping the test connections.     The operation via touch screen and color-display is an innovation in the market.  This kind of operation has already become standard in the GLP2-class 10 years ago. Count on our long experience! The entire operation is driven by finger touching the symbols in the graphic display.  You can also enter numbers and letters by activating the virtual keyboard. With this feature, SCHLEICH once more proves its technological leadership. In addition, you can also connect a normal keyborad, a mouse and/ or a barcode scanner.
  • Connectivity
    As a standard, the GLP2-MODULAR is equipped with a 4 GB memory, which offers enough capacity for almost unlimited numbers of test sequences and test results. The test results may either be printed, stored on a USB-stick oder saved on a server in your network.  At the end of a test you can even print nameplates on a thermo transfer printer and document the certified quality to your customer.
  • Networking
    The GLP2-MODULAR may easily be integrated in networks. The number of GLP2-MODULAR testers in the network is unlimited.  Also test sequences and test results are stored in the network. Thus, all testers are able to access the same test sequences.

By the unique manual mode, all test methods integrated in the tester may directly be applied.
No test sequence parameterization is required in advance. You only have to select the requested test method and start the test.
The software shows, similar to a multimeter, the currently measured test values. Thus, the evaluation of your test object is immediately and detailed possible.

 

Production| Semi- or fully automatic test



Typical tests in production are either performed manually with test probes and/ or fully-automatic. Thanks to the convenient user guidance the GLP2-ce offers perfect testing conditions for these applications.

For the inspection of different kinds of test objects you can save up almost unlimited test sequences in the GLP2-ce, which can be opened and started by using the touch display, the keyboard or by scanning the barcode.
On request, the tester automatically generates a label at the end of a test.

Furthermore, you can also save a lot of order data, which can additionally be printed on the standard test report from SCHLEICH.

A further application may be the entire inspection of a train cabling with high currents and high voltage. For this, SCHLEICH developed a special tester.

 

High-voltage test

A further, typical application for the GLP2-ce is the high-voltage test up to 100 KV AC or DC.

The test voltage is generated by an external high-voltage transformer, which is remote-controlled by the tester. The high-voltage is connected to a barrel. At the top of the barrel the contactting to the test object is installed. The high-voltage´s opposite pole is the protective earth/ ground bond.
